My name is Courtney. I’m 18 years old. I’m from New York City. Soon to be college student. Currently 245 pounds. This blog was formerly just thoughts and basically an excuse to stalk my friends blogs but now it is first and foremost about my weight loss journey. I just started so nobody should expect immediate results. (That last sentence might be more for myself than for y’all.) That exciting as shit considering I thought weight loss was literally impossible for me. This just means one thing, I have no more excuses not to lose more weight. Because I&amp;#8217;m super chunky I&amp;#8217;m assuming that a lot of weight is going to go super fast and then all of a sudden it&amp;#8217;s just going to stop, but i can&amp;#8217;t wait to be able to fit into like a size 8. I just don&amp;#8217;t wanna have a double digit dress size anymore. Anyway, I&amp;#8217;m motivated! I&amp;#8217;m kicking ass and my body is melting fat. Hooray!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Oh, last thing.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My doctor told me i had to lose 90 pounds in order to not be at risk for diabetes and heat failure and every other disease that likes to kill women of color. So that&amp;#8217;s my goal. In about a year and a half I want to lose 90 pounds. By running I mean jogging until I can&amp;#8217;t breathe and then walking. I did 2 sets of 40 sit ups and 30 lunges on each side then stretched like a motherfucker. I&amp;#8217;m excited though, no matter how much I did cause this means, I&amp;#8217;m sticking to it.
